一、It is high time that.怎么用

It is(high) time that表示“是该做．．....的时候了。这种句式常用it作形式主语，that从句为主语从句，句中常用一般过去式或“should do”的虚拟语气结构。注意：其中should不可省略，time前不加定冠词the。

结构：It's high time that sb did/should do sth

例如：It's high/good/about that we struggled/should struggle for our dream. 是时候为梦想拼搏奋斗了。

主语从句使用陈述语序，其通常结构为“引导词主语谓语其他成分＂,但当连接代词同时充当从句主语时，其结构为“连接代词谓语其他成分”。

It's high time that从句谓语动词有两种形式：

动词的过去式(be用were)；或者用shoud 动词原形（should不能省略)；

句型是虚拟语气句型，意思“现在某人该做某事了”。

三、it is high time that 后面加什么

it is time that 从句，从句要用虚拟语气，主要有两种形式。

1、从句用作一般过去时。例如：It is time that we went to school。我们该上学了。

2、从句用should 动词原形，例：It is high time that we should tell him the truth。是我们该告诉他真相的时候了。

句型“It is the 序数 time that从句”的意思是“第...次做....”。其中的that从句常用现在完成时。需要注意的是，It is the 序数 time后面接的是that引导的从句，关系词只能用that，that可以忽略。
